caster sugar | |
| Preheat the oven to 350 F | ||
|

|
Soak the sultanas in warm water | |
|

|
Put the milk into a saucepan with butter | |
|

|
Heat till warm, then pour in the semolina and bring to boil, stirring constantly | |
|

|
Simmer for 5 minutes, then stir in all but 1 tbsp of the sugar | |
|

|
Drain sultanas and mix into semolina | |
|
-
|
Turn into a greased ovenproof dish and smooth top | |
|

|
Bake for 30 minutes | |
|

|
Remove dish from oven and increase heat to 400 F | |
|

|
Mix the semolina with a fork to break it up | |
|
-
|
Return dish to oven for 5 minutes till mixture is dry and crisp | |
|

|
Turn on to a warmed serving dish | |
|

|
Sprinkle with the reserved sugar and serve hot | |
