Barbecued Pork Chops

| This marinade capitalizes on the slight bitterness that beer drinkers cherish. Any beer can be used. Serve with Embered Onions and sweet potatoes | ||

pork loin chops (about 3/4 inch thick) | |

rice vinegar | |
|

canola oil | |
|

molasses | |

salt | |

Trim excess fat from chops, arrange in shallow dish | |
| Beer Marinade | ||

In jar with tight-fitting lid, shake together beer, vinegar, oil, molasses, salt, pepper and cinnamon | |

Pour over chops turning to coat | |
|

|
Cover and marinate in refrigerator for at least 4 hours or up to 24 hours | |

Let stand at room temperature for 30 minutes | |

Reserving marinade, place chops on greased grill over medium heat | |
|

Cook, turning and brushing with marinade once, for about 10 minutes or just until no longer pink inside | |
